We use 'Class Dojo' in school.  This is a reward system where children get 'points' for doing good work in school and demonstrating positive behaviour.  If you haven't yet registered, please see either Mrs. Annia or Mrs. Parker for a letter with a joining code.  no

We started the year off with our Peasants, Princes and Pestilence Topic, learning about what life was like in England during the time of the Black Death.

We started off with a visit from Pestilence himself before learning more about the symptoms and treatments for the plague before finishing our topic with a fantastic trip to the village of Eyam in Derbyshire.  A village which played such a crucial role in stopping the spread of the deadly disease.

Take a look at what we got up to over the half term ...

Our trip to Eyam ...

Take a look at some of the amazing Home-Learning work that the children produced ...

Our topic for the second half of the Autumn term is Stargazers.  We are learning about our solar system, scientists that played key roles in our understanding about gravity and the solar system and designing and testing our own rockets!

We had a visit from some furry and not some not so furry animals just after half term ...

Creating the phases of the moon by potato printing and by eating Jaffa cakes!

National Anti-Bullying Week. We created human comic strips to consider questions about what bullying is, when it happens and how it affects people.

Interviews for a villain to steal the moon.

Please see the gallery page to see our candidates being interviewed for the post of 'Villain to steal the moon'.  The interviews were the culmination of our work on persuasive writing.  The children wrote letters to the bank manager of the Bank of Evil from Despicable Me to ask him for an interview and the chance to get the funding to steal the moon.  The children created villain alter-egos and provided long lists of dastardly deeds that they had undertaken in their criminal past.

Well done to everyone who took part.

The children have been working really hard this half term with Mr Deakin on their ukulele skills and this was their final piece. A great festive piece, well done everyone!
