Python Hill Primary School  is committed to providing an appropriate and high quality education to all the children living in our local area. We believe that all children, including those identified as having special educational needs have a common entitlement to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum, which is accessible to them, and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.

We believe that all children should be equally valued in school and ensure we develop an environment where all children can succeed.

If you would like any more information please contact Mrs French (Deputy Head Teacher & SENCo)  in person at the school office or 01623 464164 or via email on

SEND Local Offer

The SEND local Offer brings together helpful and useful information for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), from birth to 25 years, and their families. The information is contained within a website, which will enable you to search for services and provision within your own community and Nottinghamshire as a whole. This will cover public services that are available within:

  • Education: e.g. nurseries, playgroups, schools and colleges as well as support services like educational psychologists, early years and early intervention workers
  • Health:  e.g. GPs, paediatricians, school nurses and therapists
  • Social care: e.g. respite services and children’s disability services.

It should also enable you to find out what support and services are available in the voluntary and private sectors, for example from charities and disability groups.

You can access the website here:
